On May 8th, we visited Rittal in Songdo. Rittal is subsidiary
of Friedhelm Loh group and based on Herborn, Germany. It is a leading global
supplier of enclosure systems, automation, and infrastructure with its
industrial, IT, energy and power, cooling, and service units. Rittal products
and solutions are used in over 90% of global industries.
Program starts with a greeting of Justin Lee, managing director of
Rittal Korea. Then we move to the show room in the lobby and saw their
products. They produce enclosure for the electronic, data centre, automated
equipment, cooling system and others.
We had a time to look through their warehouse, manufacture system
and MOD centre. All intermediate goods and finished products imported from
other manufactures abroad are stored in the warehouse. They have a manufacture
for the baying enclosures. MOD centre treats special orders from customers. They
use same building with EPLAN, software company, also a subsidiary of Friedhelm
Loh group. They provide software and service solutions in the fields of
electrical, automation and mechatronic engineering. EPLAN and Rittal cooperate
each other and give a total solution for the electrical system.
After the tour, HR manager Hwang told us how to get a job in global
company. He said, everything is same with most company in Korea. Need to know
which kind of person they want and need to check my ability and interest. During
the speech, the overall atmosphere was very serious. Lot of students heard it
seriously. The biggest tip for the apply is ‘be yourself’. With the advancement
of technology, it has not become difficult for artificial intelligence to
write. However, at the interview, you cannot hide that your resume and CV is
written by it. So, don’t overstate it, it was the main tip. After Mr. Hwang,
employees who graduated from Incheon National University told similar thing
with their experience.
